Rust Software Engineer (offline)

Now we are helping to our friends, whose project is called Relayz.

Relayz is a blockchain based infrastructure ecosystem for hyper-secure communications with quantum resistant end-to-end encryption and Decentralized Identity (DID). Think Zoom for Web3.

The project was launched in 2020 by a group of professionals experienced in cybersecurity, blockchain and privacy tech. The company is based in Seychelles.

What do we have now?
PoC for the video meeting is already developed, in the immediate future we need to integrate with blockchain next.

Goals
Our a short term goal - to create a truly decentralized and uncensorable web3 alternative to zoom with a focus on security and privacy.
The long term one - to become the web3 privacy protocol with our own blockchain for others to build on top.

The team is comprised of Co-founders and Software Engineers (6-7 people). We are in search of the Rust SE who will become a core member.

Relayz has the following features:
- Peer to peer videoconferencing
- Web3 login and authentication
- True end to end encrypted videochats
- Incentivized, uncensorable and decentralized infrastructure
- Privacy by design
- HD quality videoconferencing with a simple UX. No need to download or install
- NFT Avatars for DID, VR and AR
- NFT memorable videoconferences
- Apps for desktop and mobile

We differentiate ourselves by providing a simple, easy to use, uncensorable, secure and private by design alternative to Web2 counterparts such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

Requirements
- Ideally, 1-2 years of development experience in Rust and strong previous experience with C/C++ or Golang
- To be open for the new technologies and be ready to improve the programming skills constantly
- Understanding of client-server architecture
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of REST principles
- Experience with git
- Basic understanding of CI/CD
- Experience with Docker
- Upper-intermediate (speaking)

Will be a plus:
- Experience with Near blockchain
- Experience with WebAssembly

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with CTO and product team to design and build blockchain-based functionality
- Build applications based on smart contracts
- Manage smart contracts and create a straightforward development pipeline to develop, test and deploy them
- Report to CTO
