Lead Back-End Developer (Node.js) Offline

Responsibilities
*Develop new features and make improvements in existing code;
*Communicate with project stakeholders to clarify requirements, priorities, architecture;
*Define technical implementation approach for features, breakdown work into tasks, prepare estimates;
*Ensure high code quality, do code reviews;
*Mentor engineers on the team.
Must-have requirements
*Minimum 5 years of proven experience in back-end development;
*Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript;
*Expert in Node.js;
*Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs;
*Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases;
*Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka;
*Hands-on experience in building distributed systems and micro-service oriented architectures;
*Familiarity with AWS and/or GCP;
*Deep understanding of unit-testing practices and relevant hands-on experience;
*Good knowledge of Git, experience with CI/CD;
*Previous direct communication with international clients;
*Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, such as Scrum.
Optional requirements
*React, full-stack development experience is a huge plus;
*Experience in defining branching strategy and setting up CI/CD;
*Experience in building high-load systems;
*Experience with GraphQL.
Working conditions and benefits
🔸Flexible working schedule: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. It additionally depends on the project operational hours. Work on weekends or overtimes is only upon request of the customer, is paid in addition.
