Linux System QA Engineer (offline)

Mellanox Technologies is looking for a QA Linux System Engineer to join the QA team. The responsibilities of the new hire include Linux-based infrastructure & QA for Linux based systems (including switches & Servers), as well as ongoing documentation and QA testing.

Requirements:
o Hands on experience with Linux Kernel troubleshooting with good debug ability skills
o Hands-on experience with various Linux distribution: Centos, Redhat, Ubuntu.
o Experience with network protocols and hands-on experience with switches & routers, L2 ETH protocols links: (xSTP/LAG/IGMP/LLDP/SNMP/QoS) and routing protocols like: (OSPF/BGP).
o Design and execution of test plan, develop and execute network automation tests and framework APIs.
o Programming skills (Perl, Python, bash) and source control tools GIT/SVN
o Ability to handle several tasks in parallel, effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment
o Excellent communication skills, project leading skills, team player

Advantages:
o B.Sc. in an engineering field.
o Experience with various compute and virtualization environments: Linux KVM, VMware, ESX.
