Shopify / Shopify PLUS Developer (Digital Agency, e-commerce) to $3000 Offline

CommerceMate is a full-service e-commerce agency based out of Los Angeles, California, with a great portfolio of clients and an excellent reputation. We design, develop and optimize Shopify and Shopify Plus websites for some of the best DTC brands.

Our team of designers, developers, solutions architects, and e-comm consultants is growing, and we are looking for more talented people to join our team.

Position:

 

As we expand our e-commerce portfolio, we’re looking for an experienced Shopify developer to help develop and manage e-commerce projects. You’ll be responsible for building and implementing pages and features within our clients’ custom Shopify themes, as well as integrating 3rd party apps and general site upkeep tasks. You’ll be working closely with our PM team to liaise with clients and come up with development timelines and constraints.

Your responsibilities will include:

 

• Responsible for the development of the Shopify Plus platform, themes, liquid programming language, and corresponding apps
• Supporting project managers and dev ops
• Conducting technical analysis of the projects
• Building custom applications
• Implement debugging techniques and usage of browser developer tools

Skills needed for success:

 

• Shopify Liquid and Shopify API
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience using Figma (as a developer)
• Experience with Shopify hydrogen and oxygen is a plus
• Experience with Shopify B2b is a plus
• Page loading speed optimization
• Experience integrating/customizing 3rd party Shopify apps
• Understanding Shopify speed optimization is a plus
• English
