DevOps Engineer (Lv 1) (offline)

YOU WILL:

• Act as a Tier 2 support and escalation point for various production related issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams regarding incidents, tickets, and technical support regarding level 1 and 2 website, third-party or infrastructure issues.
• Monitor production deployment changes, website performance, real user activity, API SLAs integrations and overall health of the websites.
• Escalate software bugs or feature enhancements to development and product management teams
• Find opportunities to develop web operational tools that would help to streamline and simplify NOC activities
• Work with other teams to analyze & resolve production issues, including debugging, analysis, and identification of application issues, for a range of products and services.
• Provide an effective and efficient response to all emails, phones, chats and portal requests for technical support. 
• Troubleshoot and provide recommended workarounds/fixes to problems. 
• Identification and reporting of breaches and incidents appropriately and at a pace. 
• Be a part of on-call rotation for 24x7 operation.
• Proactively monitor corporate systems and applications across the following areas:
• Web application and infra monitoring using New Relic, Elastic, ManageEngine, and Splunk.
• Traffic monitoring and proactive mitigation of bad e-com traffic using Akamai and PerimeterX.
• Calibration of monitoring thresholds and notifications.
• SSL certificates renewal.
• Domain Registrar renewal.
• Monitoring of data center infrastructure systems and applications.
• Monitoring of corporate network.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field from an accredited institution of higher education.

• One-three (1-3) years progressive experience in information technology.
• One-three (1-3) years of System administration experience (Linux (preferred), Windows, scripting, and automation)
• General understanding of DevOps processes, configuration management, CI/CD
• Knowledge of cross Infrastructure (Network, Storage, Server, Hypervisor, Cloud, Automation).
• Experience working with monitoring tools (for example, New Relic, Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, Splunk, Elastic, Nagios, Zabbix, ITSM tools)
• Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS traffic streams, WAF & Bot Management, CDN concepts
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, GKE, EKS)
• Experience with Infrastructure as a Code tools (Terraform, etc.)
• English level B1
