Middle QA Engineer (offline)

What you will do:
— Work on building a Quality driven engineering culture that helps ship products rapidly, confidently and with good quality.
— Drive the quality for a product/feature, assess risks to and ensure shipping features with a high-quality bar.
— Plan, develop, and execute test strategy for each release across core VistaJet products and platforms.
— Help tackle cross-platform engineering challenges and contribute creative ideas to the improve quality.
— Partner with teams to leverage solutions to prevent regressions and ensure the reliability of the product.
— Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing
— Work with product development team to define and verify the acceptance criteria of our user stories.
— Work with development team to incorporate test processes/cycles into each sprint.
— Work with development team to identify, define and execute the performance checks.
— Report and document technical issues, as well as follow them up through the complete bug cycle.
— Help developers and teams cultivate a quality mindset.

Qualifications:
— 3+ years of quality assurance and test engineering experience.
— Demonstrated experience in test planning, test design, test strategy, and test execution.
— Expert in web-based application testing.
— Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
— Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.
— Methodical, a self-starter, and passionate about quality which is key to the growth and success of a product.
— Great interpersonal and communication skills.
— Strong analytical skills to identify the root cause and cause/effect relations.
— Strong organizational skills, able to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize the results.

Preferred or desirable experience:
— Experience working in an Agile environment.
— Experience with SQL databases.
— Experience developing automated tests using Selenium
— Experience with API testing.
— Experience with performance testing.
— Experience with TDD, Gherkin
