Infrastructure Engineer (offline)

Today we're looking to hire an Infrastructure Engineer that will join our strong and always growing team in a key position. The ideal candidate can work with teammates and troubleshoot problems, identify solutions, and assess situations in real-time.

What you’ll be doing:

- Responsible for installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of computing infrastructure storage systems, storage networks running in different geo-distributed data centers;
- Perform various functions, including data migration, data backup, virtual machine set-up, troubleshooting problems;
- Configure and maintain VM servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security;
- Participates in all aspects of technical research, planning, and documentation for assigned projects and issues;
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability;
- Monitor the capacity and performance of storage and virtualization systems and make recommendations for improvements. Communicate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution;
- Understand data protection and disaster recovery technologies in a multi-site environment;
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes;
- Create automation for repeating tasks.


About you:

- Experience in development/administration of IT systems 3 years+;
Strong Linux administration experience at least 3 years (CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL);
- Experience with vCenter, VMware ESXi, and maintaining the complete VMware lifecycle including patching, troubleshooting, upgrades, and migrations;
- Solid technical background in a hosted services environment;
- Experience with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana);
- Good understanding of storage technologies, experience in storage capacity planning and maintenance;
- Experience in troubleshooting systems with vendors;
- Experience with fiber channel network based on Brocade equipment;
- Experience with data backup, archive, and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, EmcData Domain).


Would be nice to have:

- Experience with cloud services ( AWS, GoogleCloud);
- Experience with scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python);
- Experience with DELL EMC equipment.
