Lead Firmware QA Engineer (offline)

Responsibilities and Duties
— Understand QA processes, techniques, approaches, methodologies, and software development lifecycle, and ability to apply the knowledge into daily activities
— Lead team of manual QA engineers and coordinate activities with SDET team
— Validate quality of multiple products and maintain and establish state of the art QA process
— Estimate and allocate required resources to perform full cycle product validation
— Communicate with stakeholders and provide reports on product quality and readiness for production

Qualifications and Skills
— 3+ years of experience in manual testing
— 2+ years experience in leading QA teams
— Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies
— Experience with writing test documentation
— Understanding of embedded systems principles
— Experience with embedded systems testing
— Advanced level of understanding in Unix-based systems
— Understanding of network principles
— Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
— Good written and spoken English

Nice to have
— Experience with debugging hardware and firmware
— Basic knowledge of Python
— Experience with 802.11 protocols
— Experience with low-powered systems
— Experience with audio/video data processing
— Familiarity with SQL databases and elastic search
— Ability to root-cause failures across software, firmware and hardware
— Experience with RTOS
