QA Analyst (offline)

Job Summary

The QA Analyst will ensure quality of delivery by writing and executing test plans and cases covering client-specific deployments of standard and custom configuration. Projects will range in size and span working on both new implementations and subsequent consulting efforts across the entire suite of Allvue offerings. You will be part of Professional Services function supporting testing both Credit and Equity applications for both standard implementation and custom client work.


Responsibilities

Ability to gather and understand user requirements and write test cases to test the requirements.
Execute test cases, report defects, and verify defect resolution.
Log and monitor defects and features in our internal tracking system.
Follow Documented QA Artifacts.
Escalate Blockers to PMs and direct supervisor.

Requirements

Experience in writing and keeping up to date test documentation
Experience with financial domain apps testing and desire to work in this domain
Experience in working with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and knowledge of SQL is preferred
Enthusiasm for finance, testing, and technology
Ability to understand testing process, methods and concepts
General understanding of Agile/Scrum
Detail oriented and able to notice and find defects
Someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can successfully work on multiple competing priorities and timelines
Good communication skills (written and verbal) and be adept at listening and soliciting feedback

Education/Certifications

Bachelors’ degree specifically in Computer Science or in Financial area is preferred
