QA Engineer (offline)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Quality Assurance Engineers who love building complex SaaS solutions to join one of our divisions — ManageBac. ManageBac is the leading online planning, assessment, and reporting platform for IB World Schools, supporting over 140,000 educators in 130 countries for over 15 years. By providing schools with one unified system on a consistent, modern, and mobile-ready interface, ManageBac offers a seamless & integrated experience for coordinators, teachers, students, and parents.

As a part of the ManageBac division, you will work on the development and enchantment of the web and mobile applications, providing a seamless & integrated experience for coordinators, teachers, students, and parents.

Responsibilities:
- Work within a ManageBac R&D team that consists of up to 25 developers and 5 QA Engineers that are actively growing.
- Analyze QA processes and propose improvements.
- Create and execute test cases based on requirements using TestRail.
- Perform UI functional, non-functional, cross-browser testing.
- Perform responsive layout testing on mobile and tablet views.
- Perform mobile native application testing (IOS, Android).
- Perform integration testing between applications within the Faria Education Group and other 3rd party services.
- Communicate effectively with the Product Manager to ensure the correct requirements are met.
- Document useful information related to the product.

Position Requirements:
- 3+ years of manual testing experience.
- Experience in Web UI testing.
- Experience in writing test plans.
- Experience in REST API testing.
- Experience in Mobile testing.
- Knowledge of testing types and layers. Understanding when and where to apply.
- An ability to create and support test documentation, executing test runs.
- Understanding the necessity of automated testing and how to benefit from it.
- Upper-intermediate English (written and spoken) and is able to communicate effectively.
- Be able to work with a server (Kibana) and the browser logs to analyze the bug root cause.
- Good understanding of QA processes in SDLC.
- Experience with MySQL queries.

Nice to Have:
- Experience working with GitHub.
- Experience in test automation and knowledge of test automation frameworks. As there is an opportunity to grow as AQA.
- Experience with at least one programming language (Preferably Ruby).
