Data Engineer (offline)

Desired skills:
● Expert in SQL and able to write structured and efficient queries on large data sets.
● Practical experience with Python
● Experience with BI tools (Looker is a big plus, Tableau, Pentaho)
● Experience with ETL tools such as Airflow
● Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud / Data Warehouse or similar (e.g. Redshift, Big
Query, etc.)
● Experience working in git workflows
● Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders to translate business needs and
ideas into clearly defined data models and SQL queries
● Upper-Intermediate level of English

Responsibilities:
● Data transformation, enriching of data with new features;
● Research, patterns identification and formulating insights;
● End-to-end data flows checks
● Data issues investigation
● Extension of ETL processes
● Incorporate automation wherever possible to improve access to data and analyses
● Performance optimization
● Document work, prioritize data governance, and evangelize best practices
