Python Developer (offline)

A major interesting serverless middleware project for integration of Comcast with dozens of partners implemented on AWS platform using cutting-edge technologies. The platform is serving millions of customers and a high traffic volume. Team works in an agile environment with frequent releases (every 1-2 weeks) and a highly automated release and testing process.

Responsibilities:
- As a member of XMP Engineering Operations team responsible for supporting Comcast XMP API used by Comcast partners. In particular:
- Flexibility to be part of 24/7 on-call schedule
- Respond to incidents, including
- Logs analysis
- Issue fixes and fixes coordination
- Hotfix coordination
- Ongoing incident communication
- Maintain relevant technical documentation
- Assist in the ongoing system support and maintenance
- Perform code and infrastructural changes as appropriate

Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in Python
- Working knowledge of AWS, specifically API Gateway, Lambda, CloudWatch
- Experience with CI/CD systems
- Good understanding of automated testing approaches for cloud-based
- Restful APIs in AWS environment

- Collaboration with local and off-shore engineering teams to support your software development efforts
- Participation in technical decision-making process with the team;
- Respond to incidents, including logs analysis, fixes coordination.
