VoIP Support Engineer (offline)

Required skills

β€” at least 5 years of proven VoIP experience (SIP) β€” is a must
β€” experience troubsleshooting SIP, WebRTC, managing SIP trunks, VOIP systems installation and configuaration (Asterisk/FreePBX) β€” is a must
β€” dialplan programming, experience with AMI/AGI/ARI interfaces, network traffic packet capture and further analyzis β€” is a must
β€” knowledge with Bash/Python/PHP/Perl scripting skills β€” Python is an advantage
β€” experience with monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Zabbix, Grafana or similar) is a must
β€” proven experience working with Unix systems
β€” B1/B2+ English level, all interviews we’ll run in English β€” is an advantage
β€” experience with Kamailio/OpenSIPS, rtpproxy/rtpengine β€” is an advantage
β€” anything of DevOps stack, e.g. tools like Docker, Terraform, Ansible/Puppet and so forth β€” is an advantage
β€” experience with Google Cloud Platform and its APIs β€” is an advantage

Responsibilities

β€” building SIP solution architectures for multi-PBX environment
β€” close cooperation with trunking providers, issue reporting and helpdesk
β€” managing large inventory of phone numbers, call performance checks, quality checks
β€” managing client’s requests (helpdesk) w/ Servicenow and soon with our proprietary ticketing system
β€” prioritize and resolve incidents/request tickets, including escalation of urgent issues to the higher-level team or partners
β€” monitoring and maintaining production PBX servers, call center performance, KPIs
β€” being involved in new systems development, design and architecture decisions
