Manual QA in Valencia, Spain Offline

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to help us building new digital ventures from scratch and/or adding new features to one of our existing platforms.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

- Review and analyze system specifications;

- Develop effective testing strategies and test plans;

- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results;

- Evaluate product code according to specifications and business requirements;

- Create logs to document testing phases and defects;

- Report bugs and errors to development teams;

- Help troubleshoot issues;

- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing;

You have to definitely bring with you:

- Written and verbal upper-intermediate English is a plus;

- Collaborative, self-motivated, curious, and humble attitudes;

- 2+ years of proven experience as a QA engineer or similar role;

- Experience in project management and QA methodology;

- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing;

- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors;

- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. Xray, qTest, Zephyr) and SQL;

- Working knowledge of HTTP Debugging Proxies like Charles or Proxyman;

- Strong understanding of different software components and environments;

- In-depth understanding of challenges associated with different platforms (e.g. mobile vs. desktop, different browser);

- Attention to detail;

- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude;

- Strong organizational skills;

It would be awesome, if you:

Had experience with basic security / penetration testing (e.g. for OWASP Top 10);

Had experience with performance testing with tools such as jmeter or k6;

Have experience leading a team of QA Engineers;

Have experience in setting up QA processes and documentation from scratch;
