Junior AQA (offline)

Client: The client is a leading manufacturer of Voyage Data Recorders, Electronic Chart Display & Information Systems and ship-2-shore data solutions, with more than 6,000 installations worldwide.

Project Overview: Establishing connection from a vessel to the cloud, the communication needs to be open by default but configurable in the amount of time to stay open and time between reconnect.
The connection must be used to transport small messages that will be processed on the vessel, in a Linux box, or in the cloud.
Technologies for this project is primarily C# but can be combined with a selection of services in the cloud as well. Only thing is that the solution needs to be scalable to handle more than 70.000 concurrent connections.
Other projects will file transfer between the cloud and vessels. Implementing a subscription model instead of a license model which requires. Live data from vessel to the cloud, including sound and images.

Technologies on the project:
C#, WebSocket, Azure, Blob Storage, SQL Database/Cosmos database, Entity framework, Network, Security, Scalability.

General qualifications:
Having practical experience with: C# (or other programming languages)
As QA you will be working with testing and documenting that the systems are working. Most of our work is backend work without a UI, so it is expected that you can write test cases and set up repeatable tests in code.
Will be a plus:
Experience with database, network, security, scalable systems
Knowledge of Jenkins, Bitbucket, JSON
