Flutter developer (offline) $4000-5500

We are actively looking for Flutter developer to join our client’s company, which provides best-in-class software solutions for the transport industry. Based in West London, the company supplies the UK’s largest freight exchange.

What you’ll be doing?
• You will join The Pirates, our mobile development team
• You will help us to rebuild our app in Flutter
• You will write well-structured beautiful clean code
• Assist in architecting systems and applications
• Be an active contributing part of an agile development team
• Participate in regular retrospectives help surface what’s not working so we can fix it, and what we’re doing right so we can improve on it

• Benefit from working in a multi-disciplinary team, that uses modern software and product development techniques, and values continuous improvement
• Take an enthusiastic approach to Unit testing (including mocking and behavioural testing)


What we are expecting from you?
• 2+ years of experience with Android development
• 1+ years of professional experience with Flutter
• Demonstrable experience of Java, its libraries and frameworks
• Knowledge of Git, GitFlow, Jira, Confluence
• Full understanding of Flutter routing system, platform channels and plugins
• Experience with Dart Event Loop, Zones, Isolates and Dart FFI
• Common use of Dart and Flutter DevTools and Flutter testing frameworks
• Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals like: Data Structures, Algorithms, Distributed Systems, and Information Retrieval
• Demonstrable knowledge of software patterns
• You can write beautiful, testable and maintainable code
• You are able to communicate clearly and accurately about technical topics
• Good spoken/written communication in English

What would be great to have
• Some exposure with other NoSQL database
• Knowledge of Swift and/or Objective/C for iOS development
• Experience as an open source contributor and/or speaker
