Data Scientist / NLP Engineer (offline)

Project:
This new project goal is to solve a set of interesting tasks based on huge text corpuses, and work in synergy with other company’s projects.
Text vectorization, text comparison, and text search engines are a few tasks for a project. It is about gathering structured and unstructured data, and building infrastructure around text models.

Technical stack: Python scientific stack (pandas, numpy, scipy), ML (Sklearn, PyTorch), NLP (NLTK, Gensim, BERT, etc.), SQL.

Requirements:
— 3+ years of building NLP models in Python;
— Strong understanding of SOTA solutions for text similarity, text classification, and text summarization;
— Ability to write high quality code in Python;
— Good knowledge of SQL;
— Good skills in Data Visualization (e.g. matplotlib, seaborn, plotly);
— Master in Science in Math/ Statistics or Computer Science/ Engineering

Nice to have:
— Good automation skills
— Knowledge of text search databases

Responsibilities:
— Extraction, cleaning, and preparation of huge corpuses of text data from existing sources
— Tokenization, Stemming, Lemmatization of texts
— Build custom fast and reliable text models to serve different company’s needs: text classification, text similarity, keywords search
— Be in touch with today’s SOTA solutions, and be able to apply them for fast prototyping, and POCs
— Communicate with engineers, and participate in automation of all the previous processes, and efficient text models deployment
