Job Summary
Leia is looking for a Visual QA Engineer/Tester to join our content team. The Visual QA Engineer/Tester will be involved in reviewing and advising on the quality and visual fidelity of 3D display content including images, videos, applications, and games on Leia lightfield displays. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work on many different projects from both external and internal development teams. You will help build the foundation of the Leia Visual testing team and be at the forefront of bringing 3D lightfield content wherever there is a Leia display.

Key Responsibilities
- Assessing 3D content for visual errors, viewing comfort and visual excellence and ensuring the end-user visual experience is is crisp, clean and represents the best lightfield has to offer.
- Have ability to determine root cause for visual issues and be able to advise on their ramification.
- Need to be able to make judgement calls between conflicting visual objectives (example: depth vs. discomfort).
- Need to be able to assess the quality of visual content relative to the storytelling intended by the content
- Need to be able to process large quantities of visual data in a consistent and methodical way
- Need to have an eye for detail to make concise decisions whilst at the same time having the ability to make large sweeping overview decisions across content

Qualifications
- College degree preferred
- Good vision in both eyes as this involves stereoscopic and multiview work
- Be able to demonstrate Visual Artistic abilities by way of a portfolio. For example, photography, videography, 3D modeling, painting etc.
- 2+ years experience with software and visual content testing
- Strong problem solving, communication, and prioritization skills
- Good conversational and written English
- Strong understanding of video and image media formats and attributes (codecs, containers, audio types etc.)

Nice to Haves
- Have operated in a QA capacity in one or more of the following areas:
- High fidelity 3D game development
- 3D content development
- Cinematography
- Film or TV
- 3D Animation
- 3D Virtual Reality development
- Experience with Jira, TestRail, Office, Google Docs
- Understanding of the ADB command-line tool for Android
- Basic understanding of Appcenter, Testflight, Jenkins or other build/content delivery systems
