Senior QA Engineer (Manual) for RnD Center (offline)

We’ve had a market presence in Ukraine since 2009. This is the Global R&D center with more than 120 employees supporting 20 top fuel retail customers which operate on 5 continents and 40+ countries. This position will have you join our FCx Compact product line – solutions for head office, back office and POS for fuel stations. It is large commercial development of enterprise level, run by 80+ specialists - QA Engineers, BAs, Architects, Developers and Leaders. Located in Kyiv and Hamburg.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Manual Quality Assurance engineer to ensure product quality on virtual environment and real equipment for fueling station. Next activities and responsibilities are expected:

Understand and analyze specifications and technical documentation;
Stage and maintenance virtual and real test environment according to guidance;
Create detailed test plans and test cases;
Estimate own testing efforts;
Identify, track and test bugs;
Liaise with internal teams;
Track quality assurance metrics;
Prepare release documentation.


You are responsible for:

Design and execute test scenarios, manual scripts:
Design and perform functional and regression manual tests:
Document software defects, using a defect tracking tool, escalate aging and priority defects:
Document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards:
Review software documentation to ensure low software delivery risks close cooperation with BA and developer.

Qualifications:

2+ year of relevant QC experience;
Experienced in desktop applications testing;
Understanding of testing approaches and methodologies:
DBMS: MS SQL Server:
Programming languages: SQL, XML:
English skills (Intermediate or Higher level).
