Node.js Back-end Developer (offline) $600-1500

Required skills:

• 0.5 + year of Node.js commercial experience/pet projects;
• Experience developing APIs with REST and/or GraphQL;
• Good HTML and CSS skills;
• Experience with e2e/unit testing;

Will be as plus:
• Experience with React;
• Experience with VUE.js
• Experience with Linux, Redis, AWS S3, Lambda;
• Proficiency in deploying to Open Shift, GCP;
• Experience in telecommunications (OSS/BSS).

Role:
You’ll be involved in end-to-end activities, from design and architecture, through coding, testing, and up to deployment and monitoring, using the most advanced technologies and methodologies out there. You will work in close cooperation with IT management, product owners, QA engineers and DevOps team.
You are a person with a positive mind, high motivation and willingness to work on our existing java-based solutions including new challenging projects. Collaborate with other engineers and ensure we follow solid engineering principles. Be a proactive team member with a constant passion for improvements.

Responsibilities:
— Developing GraphQL and REST APIs;
— Writing responsive back-end web apps in Node.js;
— Building reusable and best-practice code/components;
— Writing e2e and unit tests;
— Participating in technology implementation proposals and discussions.

About project:
Development and implementation unique IT solutions for different customers, mostly telecom providers.
Projects of various sizes and varying complexity associated with the OSS solution. OSS (Operations Support Systems)/ BSS (Business Support Systems) • OSS (Operations Support Systems) track network inventory, assets and provisioning of services, while BSS (Business Support Systems) deal with customer relationship management (CRM) and processes such as taking orders, processing bills, and collecting payments.
