Performance Engineer (offline)

We invite those who fired up to:
β€” Development of performance and scalability assessment strategies for large, complex ecosystems deployed across on-prem, cloud, hybrid landscapes with a multitude of tech stacks (3-tier, 2-tier, databases, data warehouses, web services, analytics, big data etc.);
β€” Performance- profiling, tuning and identification of performance bottlenecks;
β€” Performance testing/ capacity planning for cloud and hybrid cloud deployments;
β€” Utilize performance monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus etc. for analysis and bottleneck identification;
β€” Contribute to high level design as well as detailed design of complex subsystems with emphasis in high availability and low latency;
β€” Performance/Load testing using Gatlling;
β€” Work with developers and participate in design and code reviews as required;
β€” Embrace a culture of innovation and experimentation, engage in fun and outcome-oriented culture, and always be ready to try new concepts without fear of failure;
β€” Collaborate with peer technology, and product, teams across different locations.

Essential professional experience:
β€” 2+ years of experience in performance engineering/tuning
β€” Good plus, hands-on experience developing and executing performance tests using Gatling\JMeter scripts
β€” Extensive experience in workload modeling leveraging tools/utilities like Splunk, ELK etc.;
β€” Experience working on a variety of architectures, preferably for systems spanning a large ecosystem;
β€” Extensive experience in workload profiling, capacity planning, scalability analysis etc.;
β€” Prior experience working in Unix environments;
β€” Exposure to continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) software delivery model;
β€” Experience in using NoSQL databases and distributed messaging systems such as Redis, Kafka, Couchbase, Cassandra in the context of low latency and high transaction volume systems.

Desirable skills:
β€” Experience in cloud platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift;
β€” Programming experience in any one language (Go, Java etc.);
β€” Prior exposure to BigData-based software architectures.
