IGM Technology is a Canadian company which provides a SaaS solution designed to automate manual aspects of the Financial Close Process with our modules: Disclosure Management, Lease Accounting, Account Reconciliations, Tax Provisions and Internal Controls.

THE OPPORTUNITY

IGM is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative, experienced and well-organized manual QA engineer to join our team. The successful candidate is expected to review software requirements, create and execute test plans, identify and report defects.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

- Review and analyse software requirements.

- Reviewing products for defects and errors.

- Create and execute test plans and test cases.

- Identify, document, and report software defects.

- Regression testing.

- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues.

- Ensure the final product meets the established quality standards.

YOUR SKILLSET AND KNOWLEDGE

- Self-starter and capable of working under minimal supervision.

- Problem solver and results oriented personality.

- Solid understanding of business logic and requirements and ability to translate the requirements into

appropriate tests.

- Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.

- Knowledge of software development methodologies and processes.

- Superb computer skills, including database management.

- Familiarity with various testing tools and techniques.

- Good verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.

- Knowledge of testing automation – big advantage.

YOUR WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

- At least 2 Years of experience of quality assurance.

- Experience in the financial/accounting/business software domains – big advantage.

- Working experience in a multinational company preferred.
