Product Manager (Oracle) (offline)

Your team’s mission will be building integrations between Oracle Aconex software and BIM and CAD software, developing and enhancing BIM (Building Information Modelling) plugins and applications that run on Windows and Mac OS. The team may also enhance the Aconex BIM cloud platform developed in Java. In your role, you will work with the Product Managers, User Experience Designers, and Engineering Managers in interpreting software requirements and managing new features into production. You will be responsible for understanding and articulating a product vision and business goals to the team, for the analysis and documentation of user stories for features.

Skills & Experience:
✔ 2+ years of practical experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst
✔ Ability to understand and articulate product vision and business goals to team
✔ Familiarity with requirements, design, engineering, and testing methodologies
✔ Amazing facilitation skills that draw the most out of all participants and converge rapidly on an outcome
✔ Ability to identify potential issues and find good solutions
✔ Ability to listen and communicate clearly with different areas of the business
✔ Superior creative and innovative problem analysis and problem-solving skills
✔ Ability to prioritize among competing opportunities, balance consumer needs with business priorities, and articulate the rationale behind decisions
✔ Good-natured, sociable, creative, and diligent individual who loves their team and is driven, detail-oriented, and dedicated.

Additional, Desired Skills
✔ Experience in Visual Design and Screen Layout
✔ Knowledge of the construction industry
✔ Experience in working with CAD software
✔ Previous experience with SaaS product development
✔ Working with remote teams

Key Responsibilities:
✔ Understand the market, customers, and users, their problems and their needs, and be their advocate within the company
✔ Understand the competitors’ products in terms of positioning, features, and benefits
✔ Maintain excellent knowledge of Oracle’s construction products including their demonstration, and administrative procedures
✔ Work with Product Managers and the wider team to understand the product vision, commercial goals, and the roadmap that delivers to the goals
✔ Develop a prioritized backlog of work with UX and Engineering
✔ Facilitate the collaborative, iterative design of the solutions to client problems with UX and Engineering to transform user stories into functional software
✔ Develop, negotiate and finalize business requirement documents (user stories)Develop and review test plans with the QA team to validate requirements have been met
✔ Provide necessary details and information to engineers in a timely manner
✔ Gather feedback to improve features and the requirements gathering process
