Full-stack developer (offline)

At 2MBA project we are looking for a kick-ass, undeniably great and experienced full-stack developer
to help us create incredible front-experiences for both a startup and a large
government contract. At 2MBA we have a stable income generated from servicing the Danish government with IT solutions, while we spend that on spinning up new startups. At the moment we are in need of someone who loves creating great products and services through full-stack development. We expect 5-10 years of experience but will rely more heavily on your proven track-record of creating great products.
Our team currently consists of 3 people and you will be part of a tight-knit group. This also means there’s a high degree of accountability and visibility, and we expect a lot from every team member. We are constantly pushing each other to do more and be better, so there’s no hiding and you should be comfortable with having your work reviewed and reviewing the rest of the team’s work. If you want an easy, lowdemanding job, this is not the job for you. If you however want to make something incredible and be part of a great team, please apply. (See Netflix’s culture code for an
idea of how we work).
Your main responsibility will be building out new features and services, taking database options and CI/CD choices into consideration, so that we build the best solutions in the least amount of time. Our team will have a dedicated front-end developer, so you should enjoy building the underlying technology and ensuring the tech stack is optimized for its intended purposes.
While we are transitioning from older technologies to newer ones, (that will be part of your responsibility) we need someone who can help us make the transition as seen below.

Requirements:

Our current tech-stack consists of:
- Java 8
- Maven
- Spring
- MongoDB
- AngularJS

Going forward, we want to upgrade our tech-stack to:
- Java 15 (or newest)
- Maven
- Spring
- Postgres
- Bootstrap
- React
- Docker

About 2MBA project
2MBA has been a contractor for the Danish government for the past 20 years and has
developed a project reporting tool that allows the government to pay out 3,2 billion kroner a year of EU funds. Our system called PRV (Project Reporting Tool) enables citizens to create their projects and report on participants and budgets, which in turn enables the Danish government to accept/confirm the activities and pay out the EU funding. We typically spend 1 to 2 weeks a month on this activity.
Our second leg of operation is focused on spinning out new ventures at a fast pace. We currently aim to churn out new projects every 3 months. We have created several projects from the idea-phase that have already led to some of our companies being sold. We typically spend 2 to 3 weeks a month on this activity.
