Senior Project Manager (offline) $2500-5000

The Payments Sr. Project Manager is responsible for the management of customer specific engagements to implement various types of payment solutions. The Project Manager builds constructive working relationships with the customer and the project team, is accountable for deliverables, timeline, and budget, as well as alleviating blockers and coaching the project team to success.

Job Description:
• The Sr. Project Manager is accountable for the planning & successful delivery of projects with moderate risk, complexity and cross-functional business impact.
• The Sr. Project Manager, with the feedback from stakeholders, defines the project objective, scope and deliverables.
• The Sr. Project Manager works with the product team, internal, and external stakeholders to understand, gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and synthesize findings into business/functional requirements and design documents in an Agile environment;
• The Sr. Project Manager will host weekly customer calls.
• The Sr. Project Manager will set and manage customers expectations.
• The Sr. Project Manager will work closely with other business units sourcing new customers.
• The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for all project documentation, document storage and retention.

Experience:
• Preferable about 5 years experience in the payments industry (required), ideally in the card payments space but similar industries will be considered.
• About 5 years project management and customer implementations experience.
• Experience with waterfall and agile/SCRUM project management methodologies, agile coaching, and leading SCRUM ceremonies.
• Experience working in Fintech and/or Paytech environments desirable.
• Experience working in a start-up environment desirable.
Soft skills
• Experience using project management software such as Zoho, JIRA, Confluence, Basecamp, Slack or similar
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL an asset - nice to have
