QA Engineer for CuriosityStream (offline)

Responsibilities:
β€” Meet weekly with team members across disciplines (UX, backend, ops) to drive relevant work
β€” Development testing of full-fledged Webapp, mobile apps on both iOS and Android mobile devices (phones and tablets), TV platforms (tvOS and Android TV, Roku, Xbox, Playstation), and Smart TVs (LG, Samsung, and Vizio).
β€” Complete manual testing of applications (functional, regression, UI, UX, component, integration testing) for each build and once/twice every week to ensure Quality Assurance
β€” Plan, design, write, and maintain test suites
β€” Create reports for each test via GitHub wiki with markdown templates
β€” Work closely with the team to build interactive, large-scale web, mobile & TV applications

Requirements:
β€” Experience in testing multiple commercial projects at least 2 years
β€” Experience in testing Web and Mobile
β€” Experience in cross-browser and cross-platform testing
β€” Experience in working with development tools (Google Chrome DevTools etc.)
β€” Experience in Analysis of requirements and preparation of (checklists, test cases, and bug report)
β€” Great analytical skills, attention to details
β€” Natural ability to analyze and structure information
β€” Working in a team or solely
β€” Expertise in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes (including Agile/Scrum)
β€” Completed Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
β€” Experience with Github
β€” Upper-Intermediate English level and higher

Will be a plus:
β€” You keep an eye on having up-to-date documentation
β€” Experience in OTT applications
β€” Understanding the client-server architecture
β€” Experience in API testing
β€” Strong knowledge in automation testing including but not limited to web, mobile, and OTT
β€” Experience with Selenium WebDriver
β€” CSS and HTML experience
β€” Experience with XPath
β€” Java β€” basic knowledge
