Middle Manual QA Engineer with Network testing skills (offline)
Description:
Our Customer is one of the biggest companies on the market of home entertainment consumer electronics devices that strives to provide their clients with high-quality products and services.
Networking is integral for our Customer and is a core part of their DNA. As a member of the Network Team, candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and robustness of the Networking experience on a variety of products. The ideal candidate will have good experience with networking. Also should be comfortable with analysis of packet traffic and be able to understand complex network conditions.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a QA engineer for consumer/networking products.
Understanding of TCP/IP networking (TCP, IP, ARP, DHCP, DNS, etc.).
Ability to capture network traffic using wireshark.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Upper-intermediate or higher English level
Self-motivated individual who takes ownership
Ability to adjust plan and react as needed
Preferences:
Experience working with streaming players
Responsibilities:
Testing of wi-fi for digital media players for ensuring the quality and robustness of the Networking experience
Integration testing
Investigating and reporting issues
Creating test cases
Communication with Customer’s team
