Senior Test Engineer (offline)

Required skills:
Java, AWS Cloud

Required tester-specific competencies:
• Tester mindset
• Curious, independent and creative
• Exploratory and unscripted testing
• Automated testing using Mocha / Javascript / Node.js
• Experience in testing complex distributed systems
• Interested in API and backend testing

Required developer-specific competencies:
• Java

Valuable experience with:
• Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum)
• API design and best practices
• Continuous integration
• Software design
• Micro-services architecture
• Serverless architecture
• Relational and non-relational databases (e.g. DynamoDB, Aurora PostgreSQL)
• Message queues and notification services

Experience with AWS:
• CloudFormation
• AWS Lambda
• AWS API Gateway
• AWS CLI

Tools:
• Build automation tool (e.g. Maven)
• Source control tool (e.g. Git)
• Unit testing (e.g. JUnit, Mockito)
• Monitoring tool (e.g. Datadog)
