Senior QA Engineer (offline)

We are working, to make energy supply simpler through extensive automation, continuous process simplification and scaling-up. As a part of Online Team, you will be responsible for projects/websites which can be reached by customers directly (e. g. landing websites, sign-up, MijnArea (self-service), authentication).

You will be working in a team of professionals in Kharkiv, along with an IT & business departments located in Amsterdam. Requirements:
— 5+ years of experience in testing of web applications and API (SOAP/REST);
— Experience in (front end) automation and performance testing;
— Experience in creating and improving a test strategy;
— Good understanding of QA essentials and theory and knowledge of issue-tracking systems;
— Good understanding and hands-on experience in test case design;
— Understanding of HTTP and HTML/JS essentials;
— At least basic knowledge of SQL;
— Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English, speaking and writing;
— Good communication skills.


Will be a plus:
— Experience with testing complex business flows;
— Experience with testing multicomponent systems (web services/queues/SQL + NoSQL DB’s/third party integrations);
— Experience with JMeter or other tools for performance testing.


Responsibilities:
— Analysis of technical documentation, reviewing user stories, assisting — — — Product Owner with the definition of acceptance criteria;
— Testing end to end business flows via UI and web services;
— Design and execution of manual test-cases for standalone web services via API;
— Maintaining old and developing new integration tests (based on manual test-cases).
