The organization is focusing on replacing outdated products. Currently, the company is in the progress of legacy system migration to a new event-driven architecture based on reactive microservices. IoT, Big Data, Cloud computing is just a small part of the technologies used within the project. Dozens of challenging tasks are waiting for you.

YOU ARE

Your must-have experience includes

Extensive knowledge of different SDLCs and experience in adjusting them to the needs of a specific customer
At least 4 years of proven experience in project management and successful track records
Proficiency in using the project management tools
Knowledge of the project pricing model and billing procedures
Excellent risk management skills
Project and budget estimation
Managing financial statements on the project
Leading a team of 40+ people
Team management: team-building, motivation, conflict resolution, etc.
Strong communication skills
Upper-Intermediate English Level
Great planning and decision-making skills
Cross-cultural awareness
Willingness to travel: trips to the US at least once a year
Nice-to-have experience

YOU WANT TO WORK WITH

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for several projects focused on product development and maintenance, managing several teams either directly or through subordinate managers using your business acumen and experience. Your major goals are the following

Leading several teams towards reaching the project goals and objectives
Being on top of communication between SoftServe and the client
Shaping and managing the client’s expectations
Ensuring the project deliverables conform to the budget, scope, schedule, and quality during all phases of the SDLC: initiation, analysis and design, execution, monitoring and control, and completion
Duties and Responsibilities

Leading software development teams and directing their activities so that the project is run within the constraints of scope, schedule, budget, and resources
Managing the projects-related day-to-day operational activities either directly or through the subordinate managers
Defining, communicating, implementing, and monitoring quality standards on all project deliverables
Understanding and communicating client business needs of the project team
Ensuring status reporting to the stakeholders of different levels
Ensuring the project-related metrics, such as CSAT, ESAT, and the turnover rate, are at the target level
Encouraging and leading the innovation process for the current customers
Managing the client's expectations; monitoring and contributing to the increase of CSAT; facilitating the project-related client communication at all levels
Facilitating the process of creating and maintaining the project legal documentation, such as the Statement of Work, Project Proposal, and Change Orders Facilitating the development of business opportunities within the project
Ensuring that project revenue and profit targets are achieved; expenses are managed according to the budget and project development plan
Defining and implementing personal career development plans for direct subordinates
Effective management of project staffing
