Senior Hybris Back End Developer (offline)

Required skills:

β€” 4+ years of commercial experience with Hybris
β€” Demonstrable experience of developing applications using SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)
β€” Excellent understanding of Spring Framework especially MVC, Security, Integration
β€” Working experience with Java 8+
β€” Experience with Git and Gitflow
β€” Understanding of Flexible Search and Impex
β€” Good communication skills and self-driven/sufficient on technical solutions.
β€” Level of English: Upper-Intermediate

As a plus:

β€” SAP Commerce Cloud Developer qualification
β€” Experience with Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket
β€” Experience working on a site that is deployed to SAP Commerce Cloud v2
β€” Understanding of HTTP protocol and how web applications work
β€” Understanding of Smartedit, backoffice, promotions, adaptive search, Solr, Spartacus

Responsibilities:

β€” Work on SAP Commerce projects working on new implementations or supporting existing Continuous Improvement projects
β€” Be assigned tickets from Jira to add new functionality to the application or to fix defects in current features
β€” Be able to communicate well within the team both face-to-face and via electronic means, e.g. Slack, email, Jira
β€” Work closely with the Tech Lead to ensure that tickets are described correctly and feedback if they have suggestions for improvements to the implementation
β€” Be willing to own a feature through the development life-cycle, from requirements gathering to implementation, testing and post-release support
β€” Review pull requests for peers and feedback with any comments and suggestions
β€” Be aware of current coding standards and write code that passes Sonar quality gates
β€” Write unit tests when appropriate and endeavour to achieve full coverage of new code
β€” Join sprint planning meetings to help elaborate ticket detail and estimate the effort required for stories, tickets and tasks
