Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer (offline)

This role will help to improve testing processes, procedures and oversee the quality of selected technology projects.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with the customer to clarify business requirements
Perform thorough black-box testing of native mobile applications to ensure performance, usability, completion, quality, and hardware/software compatibility
Take ownership and be responsible for assigned platforms (iOS and/or Android) through release cycles and across the SDLC
Create, edit, update test cases that span manual and automated tests
Develop QA strategies that increase QA testing capacity and coverage
Create Test plans to conduct production releases
Perform feature, regression, production, compatibility, UI/UX, localization testing
Conduct manual and automated testing
Create bugs reports in JIRA
Work both independently and in close collaboration with others in the team and across the business
Participate in all team meetings

Requirements:

3+ years of mobile QA experience
Experience working on different applications and operating systems: iOS and various flavors of Android
Experience manually building apps onto the simulator or devices with Xcode and Android Studio
Good understanding how mobile devices communicate data to/from server
Must be hard working, team-oriented, bright, creative, proactive and an exceptional problem solver
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to ask “right” questions
Experience in the testing of e-commerce applications
Understanding of SCRUM methodologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and able to demonstrate multitasking
