Technical Artist (offline)
β Minimum 1 year experience in a digital art content creation pipeline, ideally in the video game industry.
β 2-3 years of experience as a Modeler, SFX Artist in the game industry.
β Professional experience as a technical artist/tools programmer.
β The number and variety of tech-art areas of interest in your past activity are also important.
Required skills:
β Understanding of GPU processes, visual effects performance dependency.
β Expert in modeling and art tools (Autodesk Maya, 3DS Max, Photoshop, etc.).
β Experience in a full digital art content creation pipeline (high and low-poly modeling, unwrapping, baking, texturing, level art).
β Content optimization experience and pipelines.
β Experience with shader development in a 3D modeling package (e.g. 3DsMax) and/or game engine (e.g. UE4).
β Experience with Material Editor in Unreal Engine 4.
β Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
β Good artistic skills (proportion, color, composition).
β Ability to work with technical documentation.
Will be an advantage:
β Experience working with Houdini and integrating it in UE4.- Experienced in developing custom tools for Digital Content Creation tools (Maya, Max, etc.)
β Knowledge and experience working with HLSL;
β Experience with game editors and engines is considered a plus;
β Knowledge of high-level coding language. (Python, MaxScript, Perl, C#, etc.)

Responsibilities:
β Support artists and engineers in the use of the 3D art pipeline and user-facing engine tools
β Provide hands-on support to artists and engineers in regard to asset performance and validation
β Review the creative process and identify opportunities for tool improvements
β Develop 3D art pipeline tools and extensions with an eye towards usability and efficiency
β Solve challenging technical issues in the 3D asset pipeline
β Collaborate with engineers and testers to diagnose and resolve in-game problems
β Inspire and empower the art team to optimize their processes
