Middle/Senior DevOps Engineer Offline

Our projects include one of the world’s top 10 traffic web properties, as well as a variety of smaller applications.

 

This is both: a client-facing role that requires good communication skills and role with responsibility for managing and improving our internal infrastructure. Additionally you will be helping with estimates and implementation infrastructure updates.

 

We are also looking for basic coding skills, someone who can write clean and maintainable server-side code and read the developers’ code.

 

Required Technical Skills

 

- AWS orchestration (EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, SG, ECS, EKS, ECR, CloudFormation, Beanstalk, SES/SNS, IAM, VPC, Route53, Cloudwatch, AWS Batch, etc)

- VMWare/Openstack/Citrix on-prem technologies

- CI/CD (Gitlab, Jenkins, Groovy, etc)

- Databases: MongoDB, MySQL, Postgres, etc

- Docker (Swarm), Containerisation

- Terraform, Cloudformation

- Python, Go, and/or other programming languages

- Strong Linux skills, Bash/Shell

- LDAP/AD

- Ansible/Chef/Puppet

- Git/SVN

- Platforms networking and security

 

Will be a plus

 

- Experience producing estimates that help set the right expectations with clients.

- Writing documentation and case studies.

- Zabbix, Nagios, ELK, Prometheus, Graylog

- Kubernetes.

- GCP, Azure

- Redis, Memcached

- Rabbit MQ, SQS

 

Other Skills Required

 

- B1+ English and the ability to spend lengthy time on video/conference calls

- Ability sometimes to overlap with the EST time zone business hours
