Back-End Developer
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing cloud applications
- Proficency with NodeJS
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services public cloud (CloudFormation, ECS, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, Cloudfront, IoT Core, IAM, Redshift)
- Experience with ORMs, relational (PostgreSQL), and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of security best practices
- Knowledge of distributed application design and development
- Experience with Docker
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git is required)
Would be a plus
- Working knowledge of Serverless Framework
- Big data fundamentals and analysis
- Experience with frontend development is not required, but a plus (HTML5/XHTML, CSS3, Javascript, React, Redux, LESS, Sass, jQuery, Bootstrap, Flutter)
- Experience with Cordova platform
- Knowledge of iOS and Android design guidelines
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for building the next generation of features for cloud-connected energy management and automation products.
- Develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications (mostly backend part)
- Troubleshoot cloud application functionality problems and optimize
- Research and introduce best practices for cloud applications and global deployment strategies
