Senior Android Engineer

We are looking for Android SDK Developer to join our wearable devices development team of professionals. As the successful candidate, you will work closely with other engineers, and designers to deliver timely and technically sound results.

Requirements:
5+ years of experience developing and deploying Android applications.
3 years of experience developing Android SDK’s.
Experience working with remote devices via BLE communication.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
Working knowledge of the mobile landscape, architecture, trends, and emerging technologies.
Working knowledge of the testing and debugging processes.
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
High ability for building and debugging complex systems in a team environment.
High ability to write readable and testable code.
Ability to write high and detail level development and debugging documentation.

Responsibilities:
Developing, testing, debugging and maintaining the Android SDK by implementing the features required to meet the needs of our wearable devices using BLE, communication, in agreement with the other team members.
Programming in a clear and structured manner while adhering to the existing architecture and guidelines.
Every day backupping code into your software repository
Every day development status reporting.
Collaboration with product managers, infrastructure, platform, and data engineers to refine requirements and system implementation.
Writing clear and understandable workflow documentation for knowledge transfer and allows developers to understand how to use new systems and features.
