Senior QA Engineer (manual/automation) (offline)

Project Description
We’re looking for a talented Senior QA Engineer to join the engineering team that we're building for our new client UserAcquisition.com. UserAcquisition.com is a tight-knit group of Marketers & Engineers specializing in building customizable marketing tools for enterprise-level clients. Based out of Los Angeles, CA they've built a reputation for delivering best-in-class marketing technology solutions.
UserAcquisition.com works with some of the largest advertisers in the world including Warner Brothers, Wargaming, Riot Games, Scopely, and Transunion. To keep up with demand our client is extending the engineering team in Kyiv to build more complex products.
What you will do:
- Lead quality assurance best practices as an integral member of project team
- Work on testing features and enhancements of the platform for marketers, 3rd-party APIs integration, interfaces, including tracking current progress or issues and designing and executing test plans at different stages of the project
- Identify, communicate, and document bugs in test and production environments
- Create and maintain use cases, test plans, and regression tests for new and existing features
- Contribute to the automated test suite while also manually testing new features and improvements
- Gain and maintain a thorough and in-depth understanding of all applications that are being operated by our client
- Facilitate the team’s development cycle (e.g., facilitate communication among team members, assist with sprint planning and backlog prioritization, remove impediments to meeting team goals, keep teams on task)
- Help establish and maintain high-quality standards across projects
- Work closely with users and clients, iterating on feedback to maintain and improve existing products

Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- 2+ years experience with marketing tools and analytics is a plus
- Experience with Git
- Comfort with running commands in the command line (no scripting abilities necessary)
- Familiarity with browser console and developer tools (to gather info/logs for debugging)
- Experience with scripting, HTTP protocols, and APIs is desired
- Experience in building and maintaining automated tests is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) on an individual basis, as well as with larger groups
- Familiarity with agile software development processes; familiarity with Jira or similar project management software
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new technologies and achieve stretch goals in an innovative, fast-paced environment
