QA Engineer (offline)

About the vacancy

DataArt’s client is an international investment company focused on mortgage investment and fixed income instrument trading. Our team is developing a system for building analytical reports. The product team consists of several dozen specialists who are responsible for the development of the product, analysis of user experience, creation of the calculation algorithms, interactions with clients, and the quality and reliability of the product.

The team is working on the development of a payment platform. A QA engineer that we are aearching for requires excellent testing skills, attention to detail, knowledge of the basics of investment institutions, understanding of basic terms, and the ability to effectively interact with a team.

Responsibilities
- Drawing up a test plan and test cases in the situation when there are no detailed requirements from the customer
- Performing testing activities
- API testing with the use of various protocols and standards
- Clarification of requirements from business users
- Providing an estimate of time for testing
- Planning and prioritizing testing related tasks
- Identification, documentation, and verification of bugs
- Retesting the fixed bugs
- Drawing up reports on test results.

Must have
- 3+ years of testing experience
- Experience in testing web applications
- Experience in testing web services (API)
- Middle-level knowledge of SQL
- Experience with version control systems (SVN)
- Experience with test management systems (especially Jira)
- Knowledge of testing methodologies
- Spoken English.

Would be a plus
- Experience in test automation (Serenity + Java)
- Experience in integration testing
- Experience with Postman
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with SQL Server management studio.
