QA Software Tester (offline)

ABONA Deutschland GmbH, a system integration and software development company from Bruchsal, Germany, is looking for Software QA Tester for their software development team on a full-time basis in office in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Duties

Review requirements, specifications, technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive, well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
Monitor debugging process results
Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Stay update with new testing tools and test strategies

Requirements

Proven work experience in software quality assurance
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Base knowledge of SQL and scripting
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
Desktop UI test experience
Experience to create Test Plan and Test Cases
Experience in Azure DevOps for testing and Git
Intermediate English level (verbal communication with developers from Germany)

Nice to have

Experience with performance and/or security testing
Ability to work in agile software development
Experience writing technical documentation

We offer

Flexible work schedule and dress code, working hours are 09:00 - 18:00 EET
Casual overtimes are possible with additional compensation
Three-months probation period
15 working days for vacation plus 2 paid day-offs after probation period
