Computer Vision Software Engineer (offline)

We are looking for a computer vision specialist with experience working with car recognition and position problems for a US-based carwash industry business. You will be working with a big amount of real data.

Requirements:
- Python 3 + multithreading.
- OpenCV and classical recognition algorithms knowledge (without ML).
- Any of the popular deep learning frameworks experience (Caffe, TensorFlow, PyTorch etc).
- Math: linear algebra, math statistics, probability theory skills etc.
- Understanding the pros and cons of the most popular neural net architectures and the ability to choose the right one for the problem.
- CV performance optimization technics.

Would be a plus:
- Fundamental knowledge of Computer Vision theory (for ex. understanding Ten Lectures on Statistical and Structural Pattern Recognition by M.I. Schlesinger could be a big plus).
- C++ fundamentals.
- Experience with video streaming.
- Experience with Nvidia Jetson and Nvidia SDK.

Oriented work scope:
- Productize current POC.
- Implement the Automatic License/Number Plate (ANPR) system.
- Improve car position recognition system.
- Wrap recognition functionality into deployable linux/python application.
- Do basic integrations with real hardware.
- API design, to integrate recognition core with UI part.
