Agile Project Manager (offline)

You will have wide flexibility and freedom in making the decisions and building the processes as long as they satisfy all stakeholders' needs. You will work together with Delivery Manager and R&D Manager and can count on their support and help with tricky questions.

During your work activities, you will play a so-called Servant Leader role for a couple of teams inside one of the DraftKings units. The unit is deeply integrated into the company’s structure, so your day-to-day work will include interactions with people all around the company and requires mature skills in communication and planning. This is perfect environment for your professional growth.

Responsibilities:
- Playing a Scrum Master role for a couple of Scrum teams (6-8 people each): lead all Scrum ceremonies, monitor the metrics, write follow-ups, facilitate the development process using the best practices of the Agile methodology.
- Scope and schedule management. You are focal point for team plans and commitments.
- Monitor the teams’ health. Help to develop people’s soft skills.
- Communication management, both internal and external; remove blockers; resolve conflicts.
- Increase the efficiency of teamwork and cross-team collaboration.
- Assist other units; manage incoming requests etc.
- Facilitate continuous improvement.

Requirements:
- Analytical mindset, logical thinking, and common sense are the first things we are looking for.
- Good understanding of the Agile methodology and its principles. Knowing things is not enough. You must understand why they are in place.
- Experience of playing a Scrum Master role.
- Basic understanding of web-applications domain. You have to be familiar on a high level with the following concepts: client-server architecture, API, HTTP protocol, microservices.
- Good understanding of SDLC.Experience in managing expectations and providing reliable timeframes to stakeholders.
- Experience in managing dependencies between several teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and with changing priorities.
- Good level of written and spoken English (upper-intermediate and above).

Would be a plus:
- Engineering experience. Even as a hobby.
