Project Manager (Web Channel) (offline)

Role summary:
Channel Manager belongs to a Delivery Services Organization and bridges a gap between Liaison Manager and a production team. Channel Manager is responsible for supervising particular channel(s) of client’s content (Websites and Landing pages). His/her responsibility is to monitor the channel’s capacity and performance, and to grow it through increasing efficiency and quality of completed requests in the channel.

Key responsibilities:
• Analyze incoming requests for completeness, get necessary info from LM, together with LM perform initial scoping
• Together with production team (Team Lead) estimate the effort
• Respond to production team requests for details and additional information, maintains close communication with LM making sure and all necessary information and resources are collected from the client
• Make sure that request follows the defined workflow from initial reception to final delivery
• Plan (together with Delivery Manager) the execution of incoming requests within his/her channel basing on priorities and available team capacity. Manage priorities
• Make sure that quality, budget and schedule requirements are met
• Escalate to LM and/or Delivery Manager in case of any troubles with successful request processing
• Maintain correct statuses of requests in request tracking system (Jira)
• Manage the production team

Required Skills & Knowledge:
• Experience in managing/coordinating Web development projects
• Understanding the software development workflow and project management practices
• Basic technical knowledge (like understanding terminology and involved technologies for building HTML pages and Web sites)
• Experience with project/task management tools, like Jira
• Good communication and people management
• Quick thinking and able to deal with high volume of quick projects
• Desire to learn new technologies, deep dive into details and troubleshoot the problems
• Upper-Intermediate English level
