Trainee QA (offline)

Project Overview:

Our team is an exciting, edge services Mobile SDK product team exposing an intuitive programming interface on both the Android and iOS platforms to support the development of mapping-centric software.Mobile SDK team takes part in development and maintenance of a set of current generation SDKs, which act as a bridge exposing core system's location features to third-party mobile developers. Mobile SDK team covers end-to-end product development staring from the new feature definition and prototyping, to the Go-To-Market readiness and support.While the iOS and Android SDKs are independent products targeting different mobile platforms, they do build on the same set of platform services, use consistent concepts and terminology where appropriate, thereby facilitating cross-platform application development. For this reason iOS and Android SDKs shares significant part of the code written in C+, and the same time contains platform-specific code implemented in Objective C and Java respectively.

Requirements:
- Desire to work with Mobile/ Web Application testing;
- Basic knowledge in working with issue trackers like JIRA;
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and procedures;
- Accuracy in reporting issues, all steps to reproduce and observed behavior;
- Basic knowledge of Linux;
- Written and spoken English;
- Strong problem solving and communication skills;
- Ability to work well within a team;
- Detail-oriented, organized and analytical;
- Willing to learn new code, test automation frameworks and paradigms.

Would be a plus:
- Experience with use of Android and/or iOS mobile platforms;
- Experience in use of Android Studio, XCode, IntelliJ or Eclipse;
- Basic knowledge of Java;
- Experience with scripting languages, code repository and continuous integration tools.
