QA Engineer for a Swedish startup (offline)

As we expand the team and streamline our processes, the need for quality assurance increases.

Our ideal candidate has a mix of product management, process management, and engineering passions and skills while possessing a perfectionist mindset with extreme attention to details.

You will join a small, cross-functional team, where your focus will be on integrating modern QA practices into our product development lifecycle. You will frequently communicate with the product owner, validate work done by the development team, conduct testing prior to releases, automate as much testing as feasible, and be generally involved in product development on a daily basis - monitor performance and suggest improvements, refine the development and team collaboration processes, discuss plans and strategies for future development, etc.

None of these are strictly mandatory, but the ideal candidate likely has them:
- Effortless communication in English
- Engineering background
- 2+ years involvement in commercial product development (may be in different roles)
- Well versed in modern QA processes and best practices
- Experience with test automation

You will be part of a growing team, working in a remote-first agile environment. In your day-to-day, you will work alongside experienced engineers that love innovation.
