Data Analyst (offline)

About the project:

This is the leading social network for meeting new people in the US and the public market leader for social discovery. This network makes meeting new people fun through social games and apps, monetized by both advertising and virtual currency.

The main technology stack for the position: Python, SQL, Tableau, AWS, Athena, Redshift, Kafka, RabbitMQ.

Responsibilities:

Create streaming data models and reports to provide critical answers to key product and management question;
Create data models that take advantage of streaming data;
Understand BI report requirements to create reports using our new streaming pipeline flow;
Monitor existing metrics, analyze data, and partner with other internal teams to solve difficult problems to improve user experience.
Requirements:

BS in CS, Masters Preferred, or equivalent experience, with a solid understanding of CS concepts such as common data structures and algorithms;
5+ years of experience building pipelines for processing large amounts of data;
Several years of experience performing quantitative analysis, preferably for an Internet, IT Company or Academia;
Good understanding of statistical analysis;
Proficiency with SQL;
Proficiency in Python and other scripting languages;
Experience with Tableau, including report and dashboard development;
Hands-on experience with AWS;
Experience with Athena, Redshift, Kafka, and RabbitMQ;
Working with cross-functional teams and business customers is second nature to you;
Excellent communications & collaboration skills;
English at the Upper-Intermediate level at least.
