Python Engineer

Requirements
Proactive and positive attitude with the ability to own projects and take work into your own hands

Experience with Python and engineering practices involved in scaling systems
Have a good understanding of production-ready software engineering practices and data engineering technologies. The ideal candidate would also have a familiarity with production applications of machine learning.

Would be a plus:
Experience with Kubeflow
Experience with Ansible, Terraform
Experience with Kubernetes, AWS
Experience building and maintaining data platforms handling large amounts of data a day.
Experience with Jenkins/CircleCI
Experience with Golang
Observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana
Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ.
Responsibilities:
Making the data engineering codebase production-ready and able to scale with growing datasets.
Building out our Core ML suite to be fault-tolerant, with continuous integration, testing, monitoring and deployment of a new algorithm
Manage integrations with other platforms and products
Making our system scale to work on real-time news, streaming at many objects per second, on huge databases e.g. Twitter firehose
Lead the data engineering team working closely with the Head of ML and CTO.
