Tech Ops Manual QA Engineer (offline)

Project Description:
Our client is a UK subsidiary of a global financial house working in multiple markets and asset classes. We are currently looking to expand our Kyiv team developing and supporting a variety of projects and services to a new area. The project is an ongoing development of a system that receives information from different sources, including vendor solutions for capital markets such as Murex.
Our team: Rapidly expanding group in Kyiv developing and supporting a range of client projects and requirements
Technologies used: .NET, Java, Scala with a large number of vendor solutions for capital markets including Murex. MS SQL and Oracle as RDBMS.
Opportunities: Rapidly growing team with opportunities for working directly with business users, expanding technical and capital markets knowledge, and developing consultancy / soft skills. Successful candidate would join a highly professional client team and will be working with UK based client directly.

Responsibilities:
- Assist new product testing across the Operations technology stack for IBOR Rform. This includes
o Gloss
o MA (message automation)
o Murex 3.1
- Connect test environments between middleware connections
- Load static data into our test environments
- Replay test messages from middleware into multiple systems
- Use SQL to troubleshoot issues across the environments
- Be able to summarize test results and report issues.

Mandatory Skills:
The candidate should at a minimum
- Min 4 years of software testing experience
- Good quality system understanding
- Have good SQL knowledge
- Have ok/good product knowledge across Interest rate derivatives and Cash markets.
- Be able to work independently without too much supervision
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal, upper-intermediate or higher

Nice-to-Have Skills:- Experience with Murex 3.1 would be a huge plus
