Strong DevOps Engineer (Telecom) Offline

We are inviting a Strong Middle DevOps Engineer to support the platform of microservices deployment in the area of Telecom.

The project is about development of a deployment/infrastructure platform for customer's applications. Microservices comprize a customer support system for a large enterprise. Developers are the main users of the solution.

Project is developed using Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, etc.

Responsibilities:

Develop a part of a big deployment solution

Influence and contribute to technical architecture

Participate in the entire development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment

Document the developed solution

Provide test and behavior driven development (TDD, BDD)

Get things done and out there

Requirements:

Strong CI/CD experience: should have experience in setting up from scratch CI pipelines (Jenkins preferred, but any CI tool is fine)

Strong knowledge of Linux, Ansible, Bash, scripting

Strong understanding of Dockers

Basic Kubernetes understanding

Experience with one of the tools: Terraform, Puppet, Chef or the likes.

Strong communication skills

Passion for growing your skills, tackling interesting tasks and challenging problems

Upper-Intermediate level of English

Nice to have:

Kubernetes experience

Helm experience

Experience in web back end development is a plus

Experience deploying to cloud environments (AWS, IBM)

Exposure to PaaS
