.NET Engineer (offline)

Description:

In our team, you will work on our Air-Time Sales Software called MediaPro. This is a software application that allows our clients to manage their sales of air time for advertising (commercial breaks, billboards, etc)! The whole range from client maintenance, inventory management, sales, planning, interfacing with other broadcasting systems, and invoicing is covered.

Our clients are Television stations and Sales Houses all around Europe. These include, for example, big global names like Disney and Discovery and also many country-specific broadcasters.

The team is based in Amsterdam and Romania and we are now looking to expand our team in Ukraine (where Operative already has a significant number of team members working across our other products). You will get a chance to be trained on-site in our Amsterdam office and will very soon feel like part of the MediaPro family.

We are looking for Software Engineers for challenging positions in development teams working both on Client and Server-side using C# and SQL Server.

Requirements:

Must Have:

- Relevant academic degree (Computer science BA/BSC) or previous experience in software development

- Good Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server or similar SQL Databases and C#

- Good understanding of OOP/OOD concepts

- Excellent English comprehension skills (written and verbal)

- Good English verbal communication (speaking)

- Pride in your work (you care about doing the best you can)

- Take Personal responsibility for the quality of your work

- Appreciation for deadlines but also have the ability to communicate issues/problems early

- Able to work independently & remotely without constant supervision

Nice to Have:

- Knowledge and experience with DevExpress controls is an advantage

- Knowledge and experience with Javascript, CSS, Microsoft Office, XML, and Jason

- Enquiring, Questioning mind, eager to learn.

- Methodical, very organized, and precise

- High problem-solving capabilities

- Good understanding of complex processes

- Able to make technical designs

- Extremely proactive attitude
