Senior Python Engineer #9687 (offline)

We are looking for a Python Engineer to support development of new product in scope of data engineering platform. The product is relational DB data health validation tool with web interface. Supports many data source DBs, provides ability for admins to create and maintain SQL-based health checks, provides user-friendly dashboards for users to get list of data health issues and all details about them, needed to fix them in source DB; trends and graphs, useful for data source leads and domain leads to understand overall data quality.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in research, discussions and decisions on software architecture and internal coding, architectural, process and other standards
Lead back-end technical agenda in full-feature team
Analyze and estimate implementation efforts
Implement, review, support and debug required functionality
Risk estimations and management
Demo implemented functionality to stakeholders
Report to TL about current tasks status, technical and other risks
Be technical mentor for less experienced team members

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
MUST HAVE:
5+ years software development experience
3+ years of Python commercial development experience
Great skills in ANSI SQL and strong experience working with MySQL
Experience with Django and DRF
Experience in data processing and manipulation
Debugging skills
Sufficient English level for communication (verbal & written)
Good communication and collaboration skills
Fast research and learning skills

WOULD BE A PLUS:
Experience with AWS platform
Experience with Celery
Experience with PySpark / SparkSQL / DataBricks
Experience with medical business domain
